I'm Gary Mudge, a Plymouth estate agent who spent over a decade in the NHS before moving into property.

Plymouth is home
Plymouth is where my wife and I are bringing up our two children, and where I spend far too many Saturdays watching Argyle. I'm also proud to sponsor Plymstock Oaks RFC, because local clubs like that are a big part of what makes this city feel like home.
That matters for the job. When I value your house, I'm not reading a postcode off a screen. I know which roads are quiet, which schools families queue for, and why two identical houses half a mile apart can sell for very different money.
From the NHS to estate agency
Before estate agency I spent over ten years in NHS project management and service improvement, most recently leading large digital transformation programmes across the South West.
It turns out that's good training for selling houses. A sale is a project with a lot of people in it: buyers, sellers, solicitors, surveyors, lenders and a chain. Somebody has to keep them all moving and keep everyone told what's going on. That's the bit I'm good at.
I'll say something a bit controversial for my industry: selling a home is more about the people than the houses. Bricks and mortar matter, but it's the people behind the move I'm working for.
